Quantum AD (Analog to
Digital) Conversion System Mounted

WHAT IS
THE QUANTIZATION AD CONVERSION SYSTEM?
Up until now, it has not been possible to use the continuous measuring
method (used for trace measuring maps etc.) in two or three dimensional
digital measurement, owing to the fact that however high the
dissolution capacity of the sensor, there was no measuring system that
could match it in accuracy. Now with our revolutionary new system, we
present a digital measuring, system which can match the dissolution
capacity of the sensor in speed and precision, making it equal or
better than an analogue system (used in planimeter and map meter
measurement). Using this system, measurement can be carried out over
one hundred times faster than by using an existing system. Moreover
measurement of the area and circumference of a circle, using the
continuous measuring method, can be performed so accurately that the
only error is that occurring in the tracing. Using an existing system
the circle would first have to be divided into a straight-sided shape
of 8 to 12 or more unequal sides, and if this was measured several
times a big difference would be found in the results obtained from each
measurement. The Quantization AD Conversion System can carry out
measurement so precisely that the only error is that occurring in the
tracing.
The KP-1000 incorporates a
digital coordinate measurement system, namely Q-AD conversion system
which we uniquely designed. While measuring the area and length of
curves, it constantly displays the X-Y coordinate value. Features fast
continuity reading of the coordinates of curves which has been deemed
impossible by the existing small computers, it is recommended the unit
be used as a table top total coordinate measuring device.
POINT MEASUREMENT
Figure consisting of linear lines, as Fig1.
Using the point mode, can be measured simply by indicating the end
point of the line. Measuring both the area and length with just one
action.
CONTINUITY MEASUREMENT
Figure consisting of irregular curves, as Fig2.
Using the continuity mode and trace the circumference of the figure
clockwise measuring both the area and length with just one action.
MIXED MEASUREMENT
Figure consisting of linear lines, irregular curves, and arc lines, as
Fig3.
Using the "point mode", "continuity mode" and "arc mode". Measuring can
be mixed.
ACCUMULATED MEASUREMENT
Using the [HOLD] key. It can be measure "addition of plural figures"
and "measurement of doughnut".
MEMORY FUNCTION
It can be record up to 99 times the accumulated and average data of
both the area and length.
UNIT SELECTION FUNCTION
Using the [UNIT] key, selection can be made of either the metric unit
(mm,cm,m,km) or the imperial unit (in, ft, acre/yards mi).
SCALE SETTING FUNCTION
Using the [SCALE] key, it can be set separately horizontally and
vertically.
CONVERTING THE COORDINATE
AXIS FUNCTION
Using the [C,D,M] key and define two points on the X axis, inclination
can be corrected.
DATA TRANSFER FUNCTION
The KP-1000 has a function of optical transfer, the data relay by the
original interface (PIF) or original printer (PR1), to the computer.
