General Purpose Oven

These ovens are manufactured to meet the high performance of BS 2648 and also meet the requirements of BS 1881, BS 598, BS 1377 and BS 1924.

The exterior is constructed from sheet steel finished in an easy clean powder coated paint. The interior chamber is made from mild steel coated with aluminium (CLAD). Fitted with fixed shelf runners and removable plated wire grid shelves. The top vent is fitted with a clip to hold a mercury in glass thermometer.

 

All units are fan circulated and are heated by lncoloy sheathed elements positioned in the rear fan duct.

The ovens have a temperature range 40 to 250°C and fluctuation on all units is ± 0.75°C.

The control system comprises of a direct reading thermostat and overheat thermostat both with calibrated scales and tamper proof locks. They also include mains switch with indicator and heat and overheat indicators.
